COMPANY OVERVIEW

Burton Power was established in 2010 with a core business focus to service a Distribution Powerline Construction and Maintenance contract for Thiess Services in Ergon Energy’s Northern area.
Since then our track record demonstrates that we can successfully and consistently complete distribution powerline construction and maintenance projects on time throughout regional and remote areas of Queensland.
Today, Burton Power’s core business is the design, construction and maintenance of powerlines, principally for clients in the utility sector, but we have a strong focus on expanding on our current client base in the mining sector.
Burton Power is qualified, competent and ready to perform all design, construction and maintenance activities required. As Burton Power has grown, so have our capabilities, which now include a highly experienced tradesmen and a management team with an excess of 90 years’ experience in powerline construction and maintenance in Queensland.
Burton Power is committed to full and open communication with each client, to satisfy requirements for safety, schedule, cost and certainty of all projects. We will always endeavour to carry out powerline construction and maintenance activities in the most practical and economical manner. To achieve this goal, we will:

  • Utilise our purpose developed vehicles and plant to efficiently and reliably complete the project, and
  • Maintain close relationships with our business partners, that are our clients, suppliers, subcontractors

COMPANY DIRECTORS

Kevin Burton   
Kevin has over 30 years’ experience in the Electrical Supply Industry in the areas of Distribution System Construction and Live Line Maintenance and Management working for NORQEB and Ergon Energy. He has 10 years’ experience in the Teaching/Training Industry working for ISES training centre. His most recent roles involve being Director and Operations Supervisor of Burton Power Pty Ltd and both Director and Trainer for Burton Training & Consultancy Pty Ltd.

Leeanne Burton      
For the past ten years Leeanne has been Company Director of Burton Training & Consultancy, and acted in the position of Office Administrator. Her most  recent role also includes being Company Director and Office Manager of Burton Power Pty Ltd.  During this time she has fulfilled duties that required initial company set up, financial record keeping, client and trainer liaising and preparation of course material / business documentation.
